The WoodBuild 2025 report for 2025 has been published after 250 representatives from the building, forestry and policy fields came together to discuss how to use timber to build on a wider range.
The annual conference is organised by WoodKnoweldege Wales, an organisation that exists to promote an increase in the use of timber as a sustainable building material in Wales and to develop industries based on woodlands. You can learn more about WoodKnowledge Wales’ work by visiting the website.
The conference was held in Llandudno in June of this year, adopting the theme of ‘connecting knowledge to action’. The organisers said that the conference built on the momentum of recent years by focusing on how insights gained across supply chains could be adapted to be actionable ideas that could be used day to day.
The report summarises and presents some of the lessons learnt from the conference as well as giving a taste of the discussions, workshops and forums held across the two days. You can read the report in its entirety by following this link.
