The Welsh Government has announced that Wales will host a special international event looking at the circular economy in 2024. The European Circular Economy Hotspot 2024 will be held in Cardiff between 7 and 9 October 2024.

In a statement the Welsh Government noted that the event would be an opportunity to share the circular economy successes in Wales and to learn about solutions from representatives from the public sector, private sector and communities from Wales and beyond. The hope is to include a broad cross section of institutions from across public life in Wales taking part in the event including individuals from industry, academia, community enterprises and public bodies.

The European Circular Economy Hotspot is an event that travels annually. In 2023 the event was held in Dublin. For more information and for details regarding how to attend follow this link to the event’s webpage.
