A conference in Wrexham last week (18 November) brought together organisations from across Wales to explore practical ways of strengthening and normalising the use of Welsh in everyday services.
Hosted by the Welsh Language Commissioner, the event focused on real examples of what’s working in different sectors, highlighting how organisations are making Welsh more visible, more accessible and more confidently used by staff and service users alike.
The timing is significant as it coincides with the Commissioner’s upcoming Defnyddia dy Gymraeg campaign, which started this week (24 November) and this year marks twenty years of the familiar Iaith Gwaith (Working Welsh) scheme.
