The Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 scheme have announced that they are going to be launching a course that will teach journalism skills to young people. This comes as part of their work on the ARFOR programme to promote enterprising activity within the area’s communities. The aim is to foster journalism skills on the ground in ARFOR so local people can report the stories that affect their communities.
There are 12 spaces available for those wish to take part in the course which will look at various aspects of journalism across 6 sessions led by experts in the field. Those who take part will have the opportunity to learn how to find a story, how to structure a journalistic piece, how to research as preparation for an article and how to use different mediums and platforms to publish their work.
