A project to try to get to grips with bovine TB in Pembrokeshire has begun according to Lesley Griffiths following the awarding of the contract for the project to a Group led by Iechyd Da (Gwledig) Ltd. The Pembrokeshire project is part of the bovine TB Delivery Plan that was announced in March 2023. The plan is part of a wider ambition by the Welsh Government to eradicate bovine TB in Wales completely by different means.
The project in Pembrokeshire will attempt to address the high levels of TB that is to be found in certain areas there, with the aim of improving co-operation between veterinarians and farmers in order to solve the problem in a more cohesive and effective way.
