Growing Mid Wales brought together partners, businesses and key stakeholders at the Royal Welsh Show to highlight the work taking place across the region to support future growth, strengthen skills and deliver investment.
Growing Mid Wales is a regional partnership and engagement arrangement between the private and public sectors, and with the Welsh & UK Governments. The partnership seeks to represent the region’s interests and priorities for improvements to the local economy.
Events focused on the importance of turning regional ambition into practical delivery, with discussions highlighting how investment, infrastructure, skills and employer demand can be better aligned to support people, businesses and communities across the region.
The week provided an opportunity to showcase the breadth of activity already under way across Mid Wales – from skills and training, digital infrastructure and energy, to agri-tech, food-tech, transport and wider investment opportunities.
