Huws Gray, the builders merchants chain established in Anglesey, have announced that they are the official sponsors for referees and match officials across all English league games including the Premier League and the FA Cup for the 2025/26 season. The company’s logo will appear on referee, assistant referee and VAR official shirts throughout the season.
It is a big advertising step for the company which has seen continuous growth recently to become one of the largest builders merchants in Britain. The company was launched in 1990 with one location on Anglesey. They now have over 370 retail locations and employ over 5000 people across Wales, England and Scotland. The move to sponsor the English football leagues comes at a time of significant rebranding for the company, updating the look of the business across their signage, their vehicle fleer and their retail outlets.
In a statement, CEO of Huws Gray Group Daksh Gupta said:
“This partnership is built on shared values of fairness, integrity, expertise and professionalism – principles that matter both in football and in the building trade.”
