The Assembly Member Cefin Campbell has announced he will be hosting a special event discussing how to get to grips with rural poverty in Wales. The aim of the session is to explore some of the structural challenges facing rural communities in Wales and the various factors driving poverty in these areas. The cost of living crisis means that a number of the long term issues to be found in the countryside are worsening with residents of these communities facing an uncertain future. Visibility continues to be a consistent challenge when generating publicity and finding solutions to these problems and it is hoped that this event will take a step towards starting a meaningful conversation about the future of our rural communities.
