This week is the last chance this year to join a business ideas training scheme with Llwyddo’n Lleol. The Llwyddo’n Lleol Mentro programme is a part of the ARFOR scheme and gives 30 people the opportunity to join a training scheme which aims to help entrepreneurs develop their business start-up ideas into fully fledged business plans. Successful applicants receive 10 weeks of mentoring and training sessions with business leaders and experts in the field, focusing on developing essential business skills such as marketing, budgeting and attracting customers.
As well as attending the course, those that take part in the programme receive £1,000 towards developing their business idea. Any individual that meets the following criteria is eligible to make an application:
- Between 18 and 35
- Live in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd or Anglesey.
- Able to speak Welsh or have committed to learn and use the language.
- Has a business idea and willing to commit to the ten-week programme or have started a new business within the past two years and want support to grow the business.
