Business Wales, a part of the Welsh Government, are encouraging entrepreneurs to join a special programme with the aim of assisting those who aim to start a business to speed up the process. The Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme is accepting applications for its Start-Up Accelerator Programme which will start in September 2024.

The twelve week programme includes virtual and face to face sessions to provide advice and assistance for successful applicants. The aim of the project is for participants to receive guidance for every step of starting a business, helping to develop key skills and build confidence when starting to trade. There is a strong networking element to the programme, with opportunities to develop valuable connections across a variety of sectors.

They are keen to encourage ambitious applicants located in Wales, who aim to reach £1 million in yearly turnover and to have grown to create ten full time positions by 2028, with the possibility of exporting goods or services. The closing date for applications is 19 August 2024. For more information, and to make an application, follow this link.
